Hello, I am Kashish

I am an economics graduate from Shri Ram College of Commerce (SRCC), University of Delhi. I love economics a lot and hope to pursue a Ph.D. only if I survive a master's degree. A fair share of my predilection is an outcome of my involvement with the Indian government early in life. Currently, I am working as an onsite consultant at the R&D headquarters of the Ministry of Defense to promote the indigenization of defense manufacturing technology. I have interned at the Ministry of Commerce and a leading political consultancy. Such experiences have furnished me with well-grounded knowledge of how national policies are institutionalized, popularized, and implemented to benefit billions of its citizens.

My Story

At SRCC as the semesters went by, I became sure that economics based research is something that I am extremely passionate about. Lack of proper guidance and coherent study material made me realize the need of a student run research community which can inflict peer learning. Having published and presented my papers at conferences in the USA, Vietnam, etc. I believe that I can leverage my network of researchers, professors and international connects to help enthusiasts like me. Having lent credibility to my work, as a larger purpose in life, I aim  to establish a global research center to translate research into action and promote a culture of evidence-informed policymaking to find solutions to the world's greatest problems.

Hello, I am Ayushi

I am a 2021 commerce graduate from Jesus and Mary College, University of Delhi, and am working as an Audit Assistant at Deloitte Offices of the US. I have for the longest time, resonated with the idea that how we work is equally important as what we work on. Being in a women’s college has to be one of the most liberating and empowering experiences and I want to use my skills and competencies in a project that I strongly believe in. And thus, starting EnCoRE seemed like the perfect opportunity.

My Story

My profound interest in research and strategy motivated me to spend my summer interning at the Centre of Incubation, Innovation, and Entrepreneurship at IIM Ahmedabad. My experience of being a member of the first Public Policy and Analysis Cell established in DU has given me meaningful insights into the tedious yet enriching process of research.

While serving as the Co-Founder and President of the 180 Degrees Consulting JMC Branch, I had first-hand experience of the holistic nature of work in the social sector in areas ranging from research to increase awareness and sensitivity through behavior change campaigns, to on-ground implementation of change projects. Being an active debater, coupled with academic rigor and business knowledge, strengthened my communication and analytical skills.
